The Vishnu Purana and Linga Puranas say

Hunger and fear will drive people underground. Virtue; things like virginity will be traded as a commodity. The pursuit of money will be the supreme ambition. There will be many beggars and people without jobs. Water will be a real problem. There will be many refugees wandering from country to country. People will prefer the false over the true and wild animals will become more violent and wild.”
